College 2.0

NAU, take two.

Awkward nineteen.

Nineteen is such an awkward age. I’m not newly an adult, but I’m not in my twenties yet, either. Just kind of stuck in between!

My birthday week went pretty alright. Aside from my Calculus test, everything went successfully! I ran four miles over the course of two workouts. Four miles! That’s the most I’ve ran in like..six months. The YMCA is such a cool place. Michael works there and he let us workout for free. He actually got switched over to a new department and doesn’t want to work the front desk as much anymore, so I applied for his old job. Yeah, I already work at the school, but two jobs would be so great. I can save up for a better car and give my parents back the one I’m using, be able to have a few luxuries, and eat healthier. Three major things I haven’t been able to do since moving back here.

I got an A on each of my first two essays! I absolutely did not deserve it for my anthro paper, but she left it so open ended that there wasn’t anywhere to go with it. But whatever. My rhetorical analysis paper was bomb. No being modest with that one.

Glee was fantastic as usual! They did a good job of keeping the storyline flowing after potentially running into dead ends last season. I really miss having cable. I had to watch it the next day. And I can’t even watch the news. Sad.

All this lead to my birthday, and the amazing night of 80s and 90s that ensued! There were a few stressful moments of me having to clean the entire place and spend a wholeeee lot of money on food, but that’s okay. People aren’t about to chip in for things like that. As much as I would have liked them too. Don’t get me wrong though, lots of people were there for me and helped out lots. I appreciate everything so much! Including the 1st season of Glee and the massage they bought me. (:

But yeah! That’s my week. Round 2 is tough, but a blast.
